- Sorry if this is the wrong group to post to but i don't know where else
- to go...
-
- I have had a lot of trouble logging in to a local bbs and after asking
- them for help, I was told that I should try different communication
- software with my modem. They suggested procomm-plus (dos), q-modem and
- crosstalk.
- Are these freeware things available for downloading and if so where can
- i get them? If they aren't free...is there software that is available
- for free? I'd like to try them out b4 i pay for the above mentioned
- products since i only go to that bbs once in a great while.
- For what its worth, the recommended protocals are...
- vt100 emulation
- parity : none
- data bits: 8
- stop bits: 1
- Duplex: full
-
- Thanks,
-
